4 ply knitting yarn

  is one of the finest knitting yarns available. It is generally knitted on 3.25 mm (UK10, US3) knitting needles with a 10 cm tension square of = 28sts and 36 rows. Being fine it does take time and skill to knit evenly with 4 ply, but the end results are worth the extra effort. 4 ply is a great sock yarn and is particulalry suitable for fine garments, see our range of knitting patterns for ideas and inspiration.
